Corporate Wellness

What is corporate wellness?  Corporate wellness is an organized, employer-sponsored program that is designed to support employees (and, sometimes, their families) as they adopt and sustain behaviors that reduce health risks, improve quality of life, and enhance personal effectiveness all of which benefit the organization’s bottom line.

With the rising cost of health care, more and more companies are concerned about the bottom line costs they pay for their employees’ health.  Obesity, smoking, diabetes, stress, poor nutrition, and lack of (or little to no) exercise make up just a few of the examples that drive up the cost of health care for individual employees.
